Calathea Stromanthe Triostar

Calathea Triostar is a striking houseplant with similar traits that of the plant’s genus – Calathea. It has ornately patterned foliage with a mix of green and creamy-white colouring. It has a reddish-pink underside, giving the plant a well-balanced contrast.
Plant Advice: This plant can withstand neglect better than most other colourful indoor plants. Watering the plant two or 3 times a month would suffice, but don’t panic if you forget every now and then as the plant will cope just fine. *Images are for illustrative purposes only. Plant supplied in a growers pot, decorative pot not included.
A fine mix of both green and creamy-white on top of the leaves gives it a nice, calm look. It is then joined by the reddish-pink underside, offsetting the plant with a great contrast in colours. The plant will appreciate being placed in a humid environment the most, therefore a bathroom would be best for indoors. However, don’t hesitate to place it elsewhere as you can remedy this by misting the plant with water three or four times a month.

I like the plant for it’s beautiful Colours red under the leaves and green on top with off white that blend in with the green. the spread of the leaves is lovely and they rise up at night time, and lower down in the day time. it is a very healthy plant, and I have learned to give it the proper care it needs.

This plant exceeded all my hopes, a truly magnificent specimen that has flourished into an even more spectacular plant!! It was a lot bigger than I expected, having bought an assortment of plants from various sellers I was bowled over by the care that this plant had obviously had & was exceptionally well packaged, it’s always a bit of a gamble buying plants this way but this time I hit the jackpot!! So therefore I can highly recommend this seller & thank them for this amazing specimen , & it closes up it’s beautifully coloured leaves to show the striking deep pink underside every night in ‘prayer’ !! Absolutely beautiful. The pot was cracked with roots exposed but left her in it to adjust for a few weeks and just reported her. Throwing out leaves, gorgeous colouring. She’s bigger than I expected too. Thankyou very much.

Arrived well packaged and earlier than expected, the soil still retained some moisture. It is such a substantial plant and it was covered in new growth. It has acclimatised well and is a very happy plant with further new growth in the few weeks after delivery. I am thrilled with my new addition and thoroughly recommend this seller!

I was delighted when a beautiful, healthy, good-sized calathea turned up. I was uncertain at first, ordering a triostar from Amazon – calatheas and stromanthes are divas at the best of times, and I was rather worried about how it would ship. But, at the price, and having bought from this seller before, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to see.And boy, I had the best surprise. Not only did it ship fantastically, super well protected, it had no issues after multiple days in transit. A few damaged sections were to be expected.But most amazingly of all, this plant is an absolute beast of a thing. It’s super thick and full, with lots of new growth coming out and beautiful variegation that you’re probably wanting this plant for in the first place. It has had no problems, had no pests, and continues to do well within my home with no signs of any stress or illness. In fact, I think I will have to at the least repot this monster in a few weeks due to how it loves to spread around the place.Highly recommend not only this listing, but the seller in general – they seem to know their stuff, and have not dissapointed me yet, and I have no doubt i’ll be coming back again.

Ordered 3 plants from his seller in June. First photo is the day they arrived (pots are my own,they come in plastic nursery pots). Following photos are of my stromanthe today. She has been repotted and has been giving me so many new leaves that I have ended up propagating and making a baby plant for another room. Absolutely love this plant. It is a prayer plant so the leaves move up and down with the light. It brings me so much joy. Plants came well packaged and in good condition. Will definitely order from this seller again.

Lovely plant- hoping it’s as easy to look after as the snake plant I bought from the same seller a few months ago which is thriving! Much darker leaves than the one pictured but none the less large healthy plant. Was hoping for more of the pale pink colour but obviously every plant is different.
