This went down really well with my mum for mother’s day. She loves growing things, and this is something a bit different. The box was a lot smaller than I had expected, but it is basically just small tiny pots and some seeds – I don’t know how much it would cost to buy these seeds individually, but it made quite a nicely presented present. Some of the seeds have started growing, but too soon to say whether my mum actually gets any vegetables!Update 1st December 2017. All of the seeds grew and my mum got vegetables from all the plants, bar one – she is being patient and hoping for some next year! She and I were really pleased with this gift.

Got this for my Dad on his birthday because he has an allotment. He thought I was bonkers but he’s been loving it! It’s like the grift that’s keeps on giving. The set comes with everything needed to get the seedlings going. I’ve included pics of the golden courgettes because they’re the ones ready first, but according to him and my mum, everything is growing, the tomato’s aren’t ready but they are stripy, and the carrots are underground still, but look to be doing well. They’ve really enjoyed it, and they’re the talk of the allotment at the minute. They had so many of the golden courgette plants they even had to give some away. They said they’re very tasty, more form and less soggy than regular courgettes. Can’t recommend more if you have a green fingered friend or family member. Might even get myself one next year.Delivery was exactly on time.

I’ve had two of these bought for me in the past and this time I have purchased them for a friend. The purple sprouts have been successful and delicious on Christmas day. The stripey tomatoes taste great and the yellow courgettes very good too. I only had minimal success with the purple carrots but then carrots can be quite choosey about where they will grow nicely.

Gave several boxes of these as Christmas presents. Was a bit sceptical when they arrived they looked a bit expensive for what they contained. But now 7 months later, 2 of the 3 people I sent them to have said what fantastic results they got with the seeds. A good germination rate and some unusual and very good veg. They make a good Christmas present if you know someone who likes gardening and your stuck for ideas.

Everything great – good fun with added interest of the funky colours, just harvesting the first of the chard, the carrots and tomatoes are well on the way and we’ve had plenty of the courgettes (more than we know what to do with) it could be the hot summer we’ve had but every single seed grew so we had to give some plants to family and friends! Just waiting on the sprouts later in the year through the plants are growing well. Just a word of advice – white cabbage butterflies love to eat the sprout plants (brassica family) so you need to cover them with net if you can before they eat them all!

Bought for BF for Christmas. We planted it in the summer just gone and I must say, it was pretty cool for various reasons..It got us to be gardeners and every day when it grew a little bit more, we were super happy to see a vegetable patch coming to life. Some of the veg weren’t as colourful as we had expected from the box but, still a nice little kit to get some excitement brewing

A great product. Everything grew incredibly well apart from the carrots (although I’m told that carrots are notoriously difficult to grow anyway). Leave plenty of space for your vegetables to grow and cover with nets when transferring outside. The yellow courgettes were extremely prolific and I harvested about 6-10 per week over a 6 week period. Don’t expect supermarket-sized vegetables, the varieties come up smaller than that but are very tasty anyway.

Due to Covid-19 isolation I purchased these as a fun way to start learning how to grow things. I planted the seeds 7 days ago and they all germinated so fingers cross they grow well. The instructions and tools provided are clear but you will need to get yourself some larger pots, grow bags and compost for you to be able to grow the vegetables properly.

OMG! I bought this as a present for my girlfriend at Xmas, we now have triffids growing in our conservatory, not tomato plants:).Although the pesky slugs had a nice meal of some of the other plants the slug pellets we used on the tomato plants worked a treat.Very happy with the product, can’t wait to eat a tomato!

Bought this as a gift for my mom and her husband to take to Greece. They planted all but the sprouts and we’re really impressed. They said it all tasted great and we’re able to grow so much that they gave alot out to the Greek locals (although it took some explaining that they were to expect striped tomatoes and purple carrots etc). This has been a fantastic buy.
