I bought this so that i could check the soil saturation of my indoor plants to check that I am not overwatering then. I’ve never really had much luck with plants so after rennovating my house and buying loads of plants, i wanted to make sure I kept them alive.Set up was as simple as putting in a 9v battery (not included). Then simply turn the device on and put the probe into the soil. Immediately the saturation, temperature, and light information is made available. If you want to check the pH, you simply switch the switch on the back over to pH mode.One thing to be aware of is that this is much bigger than I expected and probably more suited to outdoors or big indoor trees/plants, but it works as expected and is really simply to use.

Arrived today used it right away on pots in garden needed to know pH found to be alkaline needed to be acidic no wonder bad growth and colours on plants and now I can make it the best possible conditions for plants to get the best out of them, correct pH, correct light, and not too wet great tool for the serious gardener, now I will be enjoying my plants to the full will not be without this excellent tool

Good aid for the garden and house plants, unless very small pots of little depth. I use for care inside for succulents or cacti, to avoid over watering. Could be used in many ways as well with its extra facilities. Not quite so easy to read when going low.

The clear instructions /I like the quality / Delivery and communication. I had a spare 9v battery so started using it immediately and it is very easy to understand. The only thing that could improve the Experience would be to include a battery.

Works well for newly planted herbs! pH reading seems accurate, would recommend!

Seems accurate as it differentiates well between different soil dampness. I use it in the ground, rather than pots, so the angle of the display is not ideal
